You can pay with a credit card via Pay Pal, you do not need a Pay Pal account to pay with a credit card, but you must have an email address.

Deposit

Please book your stay with us through Airbnb or VRBO if possible, as it is easier for you and for us. We're listed under 2415 Salt Creek Rd. Nashville, IN. If you book through us, a deposit totaling 1 nights lodging is due when you make your reservation. We do not guarantee your reservation until it is received. Final payment is due prior to check in and if made by personal check, that check must clear prior to check-in. We must receive the full payment for your stay at least five days prior to your stay or at our option we can refund your deposit and rent to a different party.

All rates are subject to Indiana taxes.

Cancellation

Rental deposit is not refundable, but can be applied to a rescheduling of your stay at the Salt Creek Farmhouse. There are no refunds or credits for; any cancellations, early check outs, or no shows.

There are to be no more than six guests spending the night in the house.

Check in is 4 pm.  Feel free to eimail or call us at (317) 442-0137, one or two days before your arrival date with any questions you may have.

Check Out

Check out is at 12:00 P.M. ( Noon.)

LOCK-OUTS

If guest(s) loose our key and our local rep. has to unlock the house, guest(s) will be charged $30.00, which will be due in cash at the time service is rendered. Otherwise $ 40 will be charge to your credit card.

Smoking

Smoking is not allowed in Salt Creek Farmhouse. Smoking is permitted on the porch, but ash trays must be used, do not put cigarettes, cigars or pipes on the porch rails.

Four Wheelers/Off-Road Motorcycles are not allowed.

Children under 16 are only allowed with prior permission.

Pets are only allowed with prior permission, and are not permitted in the house.

TV and DVD

The living room at Salt Creek Farmhouse has a Smart TV with a DVD player. You can log into your Netflix or other subscription account, or watch Youtube.  There is a nice sports bar with TV, open to the public three miles south on Salt Creek Road, at the Salt Creek Golf Resort.  The Gatesville Country store and cafe, three miles north on Salt Creek Road, always has their TV on, usually tuned to popular sporting events.

Fishing

Is permitted only in the designated fishing area, you must have a valid Indiana fishing license to fish.  All hooks, sinkers, bait containers, fishing line etc. must be disposed of properly (in the trash can.)

Hunting/Firearms

There is No or use of; firearms, BB guns, Pellet guns, Paint ball guns, archery equipment permitted anywhere on the property. None of the above are allowed in the house or on the property, even if you have a license to carry your firearm.

Hazards (Potential)

Guests are advised that the property has potential hazards, ranging from; traffic on Salt Creek Road, possible high water in Salt Creek, Mole holes/ruts, and possible natural hazards common in rural areas.

Hiking

Hiking is only permitted on the trails in the south woods (there's a sign marking the trail, behind the house to the right.)  Guests are advised not to cross Salt Creek, and are reminded that trespassing on neighboring properties is against the law.

Mushroom Hunting

Mushroom Hunting is allowed for guests only, during their  stay at Salt Creek Farm House, be sure to only pick Morels, as any other mushrooms may be poisonous.

We hope you enjoy yourselves, but insist you respect our property!  Anyone causing a disturbance will be removed by local law enforcement.

No; cutting of wood or trees, loud music, underage drinking, gambling, or illegal activities. Parking in designated parking areas only. No using the house or property for parties or meetings of anyone other than the maximum six registered guests.

Violation of any of the above policies will result in guests being told to leave without a refund.

Kitchens

Salt Creek Farmhouse has a full kitchen, including; oven, stove, refrigerator, ice maker, microwave, coffeemaker, electric griddle, toaster, flatware, glassware, dishes, cookware dishwasher and garbage disposal. Guests are asked to scrap/rinse plates, put them in the dishwasher and wash pots and pans.

Cellar is Off Limits to Guests.

Towels

Towels and wash cloths are provided in each bathroom, guests will be charged for missing or ruined towels.

Bed Linens

Pillows, blankets and sheets are provided for each bed. While beds will be made up when you arrive, guests are asked to remove sheets and pillow cases from beds before check out and leave them in the downstairs bathroom hamper.  Do not take our blankets or linens outside.

Accessory Items

Toilet paper, paper towels, bath soap, dish soap, trash bags and coffee filters are provided. A sufficient amount will be supplied. You will need to furnish any additional items needed.

BBQ Grill

Grilling is not permitted on the porch at any time, you may grill in the back or side yard. It is the guests responsibility to use the charcoal grill safely and to clean it after use.

Special Note -Do not rely completely on mapquest or GPS for driving directions, as they suggest taking Brown Hill Road to our property, which involves driving across a sometimes swollen Salt Creek. Click here to go to driving directions page.

Telephone

There is a telephone available at Salt Creek Farmhouse for local calls and emergency calls. Cell phone reception is improving in the area but is not always reliable at Salt Creek Farmhouse.

Fire Pit

The fire pit is only to be used with adult supervision at all times and is never to be left unattended.  There is a garden hose on the back wall of the house that should be used to extinguish any embers. No cutting of trees is permitted, you are advised to bring fire wood if you want to have a fire, or collect dead, fallen wood on the property. Only natural wood products can be burnt, no plastics, etc.

Liability

It is understood that the owners/managers of the Salt Creek Farm House will not to be held liable for; for any type of loss, injury or death, that may result from the guests stay at the house or anywhere on the property. Nor are the owners/managers liable for errors in advertising print, or matters out of our control, such as noise, construction, weather, etc.

Inspection

The owners/management of Salt Creek Farm House retain the right to enter and inspect the house at any time.
